Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival, the guest will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02: IN DELHI
This morning you will be taken to visit Old Delhi – Former centre of Moghul Power, Old Delhi offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Drive past the Red Fort, built in 1648 and board the ‘rickshaw ride’ for a unique experience from the Red Fort, through “ChandniChowk” or Silver Street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this very busy avenue heading west from the Fort. Later visit the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the TajMahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon you will be taken to visit New Delhi – drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate & the Presidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful Humayuns tomb of the Mughal era & predecessor of the world famous TajMahal. End the tour at the towering minaret of Qutab Minar.
Day 03: DELHI-JABALPUR-BANDHAVGARH
Transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Jabalpur.
In Jabalpur, you will be met on arrival and assisted. Then you will leave for Bandhavgarh by road (200 Kms/125Miles)
Day 04: BANDHAVGARH
Morning & Evening game drives at Bandhavgarh National Park. In addition to it, you will be given a jeep ride to isit the Bandhavgarh fort, Bandhavdheesh Temple, Kabir Temple, caves and many other historical monuments.
Day 05: BANDHAVGARH-KANHA (260Kms/163Miles)
This morning you will enjoy the game ride at the Bandhavgarh National park. Later you will leave for Kanha by road. While traveling from Bandhavgarh to Kanha, you will have the opportunity to visit Ghughua Fossil Park en-route. Here one can find 6.5 million years old rare fossils. During the drive, you will pass through tribal villages, green farms, forest area etc.
Kanha Tier Reserve is located in the Maikal Hills of the Satpuras, spreading over two revenue districts – Mandla and Balaghat. Kanha was declared a reserve forest in 1879 and notified as a Wildlife sanctuary in 1933. Its status was further upgraded to a national park in 1955. Kanha is virtually a Tiger land, with several tigress occupying traditionally famous natal areas. Several pockets of high density areas lead to competition amongst tigers for food and space with several signs indicating their presence.
Other common animals found in the reserve are Leopard, Spotted deer, Sambar, Wild Pigs, Grey langur and more than 300 species of birds. Similar to Bandhavgarh, Kanha also allows wildlife lovers to catch glimpses of natives from an elephant back apart from jungle excursions in open vehicles.
Day 06: IN KANHA
Morning and evening game drives of Kanha National Park.
Day 07: KANHA-JABALPUR-DELHI
Early this morning, you will leave for Jabalpur airport in time to connect your flight for Delhi.
In Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 08: DEPART DELHI
Transfer to airport to connect Flight for onward destination (hotel check-out 12:00 noon).
