DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
After having a safe flight from your country to Delhi international airport, the tour representative of Exotique Expeditions will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. He will also assist you during the check in process at the hotel and explain you about your tour plan. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 02: IN DELHI
Today morning after breakfast, start your exploration of the capital city which split into two distinct areas – New Delhi and Old Delhi. Firstly move down to old Delhi, having true traditions, culture and customs from the ancient times and the charm of Old Delhi lies in its incredible sites. Feel the beautiful architecture and decorative touches of the biggest mosque in India, Jama Masjid (Mosque). You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride at the busy streets of Old Delhi.
Afternoon visit Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is the Dargah (mausoleum) of one of the world’s most famous Sufi saints, Hazrat Khwaja Syed Nizamuddin Auliya (1238 – 1325 CE). Situated in the Hazrat Nizamuddin west area of Delhi, the Dargah is visited by thousands of Muslims every week, and sees a fair share of Hindus, Christians and people from other religions. The tombs of poet Hazrat Amir Khusro and Mughal princess Jehan Ara Begum are also located within the Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah complex, and Inayat Khan’s tomb is just around the corner.
Later move to New Delhi, designed by the famous British architect Edwin Lutyens. Visit India Gate (war memorial), drive past President Palace, Parliament House and government buildings. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: DELHI – AJMER BY TRAIN
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station in time to connect your train for Ajmer. This religious destination Ajmer, is a beautiful city covered in the barren hills of the Aravallis having an artificial Ana Sagar Lake in the heart. Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon visit the Dargah Sharif of the seraphic Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, it is also referred as the second Mecca for the Muslims. It is most popular and important Muslim pilgrimage in Rajasthan. People from all the communities come here and pay homage in the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif . Ajmer Sharif is famous for fulfilling the wishes of the devotees. Various followers of different religion offers flowers, velvet cloth, perfume (non-alcoholic) and sandalwood at the Dargah.
Also visit the palace of Emperor Akbar, which is turned into a museum and Adhey-Din-Ka-Jhonpara, it is an ancient temple and a Sanskrit college that was converted into a mosque. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 04: AJMER – PUSHKAR – JAIPUR BY ROAD
After breakfast, visit Pushkar, located just 11 km from Ajmer, the holy lake of Pushkar is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma himself. It is as important as Banaras or Puri. Devout Hindus believe that it is essential to visit Pushkar at least once in their lifetime. No pilgrimage is considered complete without a dip in the holy Pushkar lake. Pushkar has as many as 400 temples and 52 ghats and the only temple in the country that is dedicated to Brahma is to be found here.
Afternoon drive to Jaipur (145 km / approx 3 hrs drive). Upon arrival at Jaipur, check-in at hotel. Jaipur is a history lover’s delight and win the travelers heart with its incredible remnants of past time. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: IN JAIPUR
After breakfast, you will be given excursion to Amber Fort, contains a number of breathtaking palaces, halls, gardens, and temples. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the elephant ride at Amber Fort. In the afternoon, you will be given the city tour of Jaipur. Here you will visit the glorious City Palace a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Also visit Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar), a calculation instrument of past time. In the evening enjoy shopping at the colorful bazaars of the city. you’ll definitely find an enticing variety of goods available there. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 06: JAIPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA BY ROAD
After breakfast, drive to Agra (235 km / approx 5 hrs drive) en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
Continue your drive to Agra, upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 07: AGRA – DELHI BY ROAD
Early morning at sunrise, visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Return to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, visit the Agra Fort near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques.
Later drive to Delhi (204 km / approx 4 hrs drive). Upon arrival at Delhi, check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 08: DEPART DELHI
After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport to connect flight for onward destination with some unforgettable memories of the tour.
