Day 01: Leh
On arrival at Leh airport, the tour representative of Exotique Expeditions will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel; He will assist you during the check in process and will go over the tour itinerary.
Rest of the day is for rest for acclimatization. Leh is situated 3500 Mtrs above sea level, dotted with beautiful villages, monasteries and majestic temples.
Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Leh
After breakfast, visit the Thiksey monastery, one of the most popular Buddhist monasteries of Leh. Thiksey Gompa complex has 12 floors and houses many items of Buddhist art such as Stupas, paintings of the walls, swords, statues etc. Also visit one of the biggest Monastery of Leh “Hemis”, Mural painting inside the Monastery is very beautiful.
In the evening return, back to the hotel en-route visit Shey Palace and Shey Monastery. The gompa is famous for 12 meter Shakyamuni Buddha statue. It is said to be the second largest such statue in the entire region.

Day 03: Leh
After breakfast, visit Spituk Monastery a famous 11th Century Buddhist monastery having 100 live monks. It is also a place for annually held Gustor Festival. Also visit Phyang Monastery, a small monastery but with a big campus. Most part of this monastery is newly built and hence has that feeling of “newness”.
Afternoon visit the wood and stone ruins of Leh Palace. Jama Masjid, one of the major historical mosques in the state. Shankar Gompa, known for its stunning architecture which is a pretty modern, attractive cluster of beautiful buildings.

Day 04: Leh – Alchi – Leh (144 km / approx. 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast, visit Basgo monastery. It is a place of total quietness and calm, known for its castle ruin and the adjoining royal temples spectacularly located on the rocks. Also visit Alchi monastery, nestled in a small village, called Alchi. There are five shrines in the complex, and one of the walls here has a thousand miniature paintings of Lord Buddha.
Also visit the temples of the monastery including Vairocana Lhakhang, Jamyang Lhakhang, Lotsava Lhakhang and Sumtseg.
Return back to Leh.
Day 05: Leh – Sarchu (250 km / approx. 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Sarchu en-route visiting Upshi. Upshi is a small village situated along the Indus river valley. Pass through the Taglang La pass, the second highest mountain pass in Ladakh. Enjoy the natural beauty of the route, crosses many small streams of ice-cold water from snow-capped mountains.
Upon arrival at Sarchu, move to a tented camp. The hot spot at this place is the Camp Himalayan with swiss cottage tents.
Stay overnight at tented camp in the coldest night.
Day 06: Sarchu – Jispa (116 km / approx. 4 hrs drive)
The beautiful Sarchu is situated on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu n Kashmir.
After breakfast, drive to Jispa passing through the Baralachala pass a high mountain pass in the Zanskar range. Suraj Tal or Suraj Tal Lake, a sacred body of water along with the most beautiful small village Darcha and Rumtze at an altitude of about to 3360.The entire route is filled with a lot of ups and downs high passes and snow covered peaks. This is the best of explore the natural beauty of Himalayas.
Upon arrival at Jispa. Check in at hotel and relax.

Day 07: Jispa – Manali (140 km / approx. 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Keylong, situated just below the Manali. It is a small town having sheer natural beauty. Visit the local market of the town and also have a scenic walk.
Continue drive to Manali, passing through Khoksar and Rohtang pass.
Stop Khoksar for passport checking and lunch. Upon arrival at Manali, check in at hotel.
Manali will definitely enchant you with its natural sceneries, innocent people and a vast treasure of flora and fauna.

Day 08: Manali
After breakfast, visit the Hadimba Devi temple, the temple is in Pagoda style and is a masterpiece in itself. Also visit Manu temple, dedicated to Manu this temple is accessible through a sandstone trail. The tranquility of the place and the spiritual aura of surroundings make it worth a visit.
Afternoon visit, the Vaishisht village and not miss out on visiting the hot water springs of Manali. These waters are medicinal due to the presence of sulfur and other minerals.

Day 09: Manali – Dharamshala (235 km / approx. 6 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala on the way visit Triloknath Temple. The temple’s name Trilokinath refers to the lord of three worlds, lord shiva. The white, painted temple glitters in all its glory.
Upon arrival at Dharamshala, check in to the hotel.
Dharamshala is also known as The Little Lhasa of India. It is an incredibly beautiful destination of the state of Himachal Pradesh. Evening visit the Dalai Lama a monastery and the school of Tibetan Buddhism founded by Je Tsongkhapa.

Day 10: Dharamshala – Amritsar(202 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Amritsar, well known for its culture and Punjabi food like Amritsari Kulchas and Chole.
Afternoon visit the Golden temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib it is a place of worship for Sikhs. This Gurudwara is surrounded by a pool of water called the Amrit Sarovar from which the City is named.
In the evening visit Wagah Border that is also known as The Beating Retreat Ceremony. See a strict military drill march by the soldiers from both sides. the change of guard’s ceremony and flag hoisting which is done as the sun sets with a handshake between soldiers from both the nations.

Day 11: Amritsar – Delhi by train & Depart Delhi
After breakfast, visit the local market of the city. Afternoon you will be transferred to the railway station to connect onwards train to Delhi.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the airport to connect a flight for your onward destination.
