Day 01: Arrive Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar by flight. Our tour representative of Exotique Expeditions will meet and greet you and transfer to the Houseboat.
Srinagar is the summer capital of Kashmir, is a romantic destination that is located around crystal clear lakes and snowy slopes of mountains. Afternoon enjoy the Shikara ride on Dal Lake, the Beauteous Shikara glides swiftly into the scenic beauty of Srinagar studded both sides with enchanting panorama.

Day 02: Srinagar
After breakfast, visit the world famous Mughal gardens. Shalimar and Nishat Bagh in Srinagar is the specimen of zenith of Mughal horticulture having pools, fountains and canals are constructed inside these gardens to enhance the already stunning natural beauty of the gardens. Enjoy nature walks inside the gardens.
Afternoon visit Jamia Masjid a great example of unique Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, having majestic courtyard with a beautiful fountain. It is guarded heavily due to security reasons. Next visit the most important pilgrim centers in the Kashmir Valley i.e. Shah Hamdan mosque. It is believed that this mosque have a relic of the sacred hair of the Prophet Mohammad.
In the evening visit the local market to shop for exquisite hand-woven shawls, elegant pottery, carpets, antiques and more.

Day 03: Srinagar – Kargil (205 km / approx. 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Kargil, passing through the Sonmarg, located not too far from Srinagar, it can boast of its spotless beauty. Enjoy snow-covered peaks and river views at Sonmarg. Later pass through Zojila Pass at an altitude of 3540 m which heads towards the Ladakh plateau. It is the Himalayan gateway to Ladakh.
Continue your drive towards Drass, a snow-desert where adventure and natural beauty is served in plenty. Its breathtaking landscapes, lovely valleys, majestic mountains, seasonal orchards will surely mesmerize you.
Upon arrival at Kargil, check in to the hotel. Kargil is a well-known destination of Leh & Ladakh where scores of tourists come to enjoy the untouched beauty of nature.

Day 04: Kargil – Rangdom (135 km / approx. 3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive towards Zanskar valley. En-route visit Panikar and Parkachan villages, both are small and beautiful villages. Nun and Kun peaks, both rises above 7000 meters, can be seen from here.
Upon arrival at Rangdum village check in a tent. Set in a wild, big-sky valley Rangdum is a Buddhist village.

Day 05: Rangdom – Padam (120 km / approx. 3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, visit Rangdum Gompa, situated on the top of a hillock. It is 250 years old Gompa surrounded by snow caped barren peaks.
Later drive to Padam passes through some ancient Buddhist villages and Pensila Mountain pass, 4,400 m above sea level also known as the Gateway to Zanskar. Before we reached Sani gompa we had to cross wooden Tungri Bridge. At Sani gompa, one can enjoy viewing the beautiful wall paintings.
Finally reach at Padam. It is the district town of Zanskar. Most of the houses at Padam are built with mud, stone and wood.

Day 06: Padam
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic beauty of Pipitong and visit the Thonde Gompa,a flourishing Buddhist monastery. Later visit Zangla a beautiful village nestled in the mountains. Visit Zangla Monastery situated on the hilltop this is a Buddhist monastery. This Monastery home to around 150 lamas and has an old nunnery too.
In the evening return back to the hotel, En- route visiting a Buddhist monastery in the Padam Valley known as Karsha Gompa. This monastery is a complex of eight temples, chapels, chortens, residential rooms for 150 monks and assembly halls.

Day 07: Padam – Bardan Gompa (7/8 Hrs. trek)
After breakfast, proceed for trekking to Bardan Gompa located 12 km south of Padam. Upon arrival visit Bardan Gompa consists of a large Dukhang, assembly hall and all the other structures. It is famous for ancient festival masks and the old handmade copper prayer wheel.
In the evening return back to Padam and visit the local market to shop the special handmade woolen gloves, socks and caps.

Day 08: Padam – Kargil (285 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Kargil. Upon arrival check in at hotel and relax. Evening is free for leisure.

Day 09: Kargil – Uletokpo (148 km / approx. 3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Uletokpo, passes through the highest pass on Srinagar leh route Fotula 13749 Fts. En-route visit the oldest and magnificent Buddhist Gompa in the region Lamayuru Monastery and Mulbek Monastery adorned by frescoes and statues, this monastery is also famous for having an image of a future Buddha, cut into the rock face.
Later continue your drive to Uletokpo, on the way visit Rizong monastery, also called ‘the paradise for meditation’ and noted for its extremely strict rules and standards.
Reach at Uletokpo, an enchanting village.

Day 10: Uletokpo – Leh (62 km / approx. 1.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Alchi Monastery, only monastery in Ladakh which is built on flat ground. This monastery is famous for three sacred temples, made of clay and painted with different colors.
Later continue your drive to Leh passes through some interesting Buddhist villages.
Upon arrival at Leh check in at hotel. Leh is a high-desert city in the Himalayas known for its Buddhist sites and nearby trekking areas.
Rest of the day is free for your own activities.

Day 11 : Leh (ladakh)
After breakfast, visit Shey, built by King Deldon Namgyal, in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal. It boasts a biggest metal statue of seated Buddha.
Thiksey Monastery, an impressive monastery in the region. It is considered as one of the finest examples of Ladakhi art & architecture. Thiksey Gompa complex has 12 floors and houses many items of Buddhist art.
Hemis Monastery, one of the most famous and largest monasteries in Ladakh region. Annually held Hemis Festival is one another attraction of this famous Buddhist monastery. During this festival you will have a great opportunity to witness the Buddhist tradition and Mask Dance of Ladakh.
Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.
Afternoon visit the wood and stone ruins of Leh Palace. Jama Masjid, one of the major historical mosques in the state. Shankar Gompa, known for its stunning architecture which is a pretty modern, attractive cluster of beautiful buildings.
Evening is free for leisure.

Day 13: Leh (Ladakh)
After breakfast, visit Stok Palace, one of the prime attractions in Leh, It is the home to the royal family. Also visit the stok Museum having a large number of very interesting articles.
Later visit Tibetan Refugee Camp consists of around 11 scattered villages. The original families of these camps have a small piece of agricultural land for their living.
Rest of the day is free for leisure.

Day 14: Leh
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to connect onward destination flight.
