DAY 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI & DRIVE TO TEZPUR (ASSAM)
Arrive Guwahati by flight. Our tour representative of Exotique Expeditions will meet & greet you and will transfer you to Tezpur (185 km / approx. 4 hrs drive). Upon arrival check-in at hotel.
Tezpur, “the Cultural Capital of Assam” is a beautiful city, located on the north bank of Brahmaputra River. It is surrounded by beautiful hills, deep valleys and lush greenery. This place is famous for its ancient temples, ruins, snow clad Himalayan ranges and tea gardens.

DAY 02: TEZPUR – ZIRO (ASSAM) BY ROAD (280 km / approx. 7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Ziro, the spot that is surrounded by the snow-covered peaks from all sides. At this place one can see the ultimate landscape and Apatani tribal culture.
Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 03: IN ZIRO
After breakfast, explore the villages of the Apatani Tribes. The peoples of this community is an example of sustainable communities that has found a smart way to deal with food production they combines paddy farming with fish cultivation, leading to an energy-saving economically efficient agricultural system. Apatani tribes are well known for their special drink called as ‘Apang’.
Also visit Hong-Dibbo-Hija-Bulla-Hari village. Hong Basti (village) of Ziro, it is supposed be to the largest village in Asia.

DAY 04: ZIRO – DAPORIJO BY ROAD (170 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast drive to Daporijo, en-route visiting Raga village. Raga village homes to Hill Miri tribal.
Upon arrival at Daporijo check in at a lodge.
Daporijo is a small town having Paddy Fields, rainforests with bamboo trees along with beautiful Subansiri River flowing along the town. It is the land of Tagin Tribe.

DAY 05: IN DAPORIZO
After breakfast, visit Nacho Lymikin road and Ligu Village and explore the Tagin and Hill Miri tribes.
The peoples of Tagin tribe usually have more than one partner. They are divided in to two groups the Na and Mara and have been influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. The most important festival of this tribe is Si Donyi in which the sun and moon are worshipped.
Hill Miri Tribe is famously known as the Abotani tribe. The main occupation of Hill Miri tribe is Agriculture including jhum or shifting cultivation which is their source of income.

DAY 06: DAPORIJO – ALONG BY ROAD (160 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to along, one of the oldest town in the state. This town boasts of its natural beauty and ecosystem having a number of places that are known for its adventure sports.
Along is famous for its Hanging Bridge made up of cane and bamboo and its Adi (Gallong) tribes.
Upon arrival check in at lodge. Afternoon visit Kabo village.

DAY 07: IN ALONG
After breakfast, excursion to Pobdi, Jirdam and Kabo villages. Spend your day with the local tribal peoples and know more about the life of the peoples.

DAY 08: ALONG – PASIGHAT BY ROAD (105 km / approx. 2.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Pasighat, called as “gateway of Arunachal Pradesh”. The natural beauty of this place has inspired many photographers to come here. The River Sangpo and Siang further adds to the charm of the town as it flows through this town.The place got its name from the local tribes called as ‘Pasis’ that resided here.
Adi is the local tribe of Pasighat which is divided into many sub tribes. Minyong is one of the major sub tribes of Adi.
In the evening visit the local market of Pasighat.

DAY 09: PASIGHAT – ROING BY ROAD (305 km / approx. 8 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Roing, situated in Lower Dibang Valley having picturesque landscape, ancient history and adventurous locations. Upon arrival check into Mishmi Hill Camp.
Stay overnight in bamboo made cottages.
DAY 10: IN ROING
After breakfast, excursion to Idu (Mishmi) tribal villages including Abango, Kurumay and Kubeli.
The Idu (Mishmi) is a major sub-tribe of Mishmi group. The people of this tribe can be easily identified by their classic hairstyle, different costumes and artistic patterns embedded on their clothes.
The Idu women are very good weavers. This reflects in the exquisite designs created on their clothes.

DAY 11: ROING – ANINI BY ROAD (220 km / approx. 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Anini, a small and underdeveloped town and the district headquarters of Upper Dibang Valley. The Idu Mishmi tribal people constitute a majority here.
Upon arrival check in a lodge. Evening is free at leisure.

DAY 12: IN ANINI
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Idu Mishmi tribal villages in and around Anini.
The Idu Mishmi tribal People are of sober nature and still maintain deep-rooted aesthetic values in their day-to-day life with great pride and honour. The major festivals of the Idus are ‘Reh’ and ‘Ke-meh-ha’.

DAY 13: ANINI – ROING BY ROAD
After breakfast, drive back to Roing. Upon arrival check in to a lodge.
Evening at leisure, with an Idu Mishmi Tribal Dance show. You can relax, enjoy, dance, eat and drink.

DAY 14: ROING – DIBRUGARH (ASSAM) BY ROAD (150 km / approx. 4.5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, drive to Sadia Ghat, cross the river by boat. Continue your drive to Dibrugarh. Upon arrival check in a lodge.

DAY 15:LEAVE DIBRUGARH (ASSAM)
After breakfast, drive to Dibrugarh airport to connect flight for onward destination.
